FAQs
Are these shoes machine washable?
It is not recommended to machine wash these shoes, as the cycle can damage the foam and the structure of the elastic lacing.
Do the laces need to be tied?
No, these trainers feature an elastic lacing system designed for easy slip-on wear, so there is no need for manual tying.
Are these trainers good for running?
They are designed for general activity and daily wear, providing enough comfort for play, but are not intended for competitive track or field running.
What is the primary material of the sole?
The sole is crafted from high-quality, durable rubber with specific '00s-inspired grooves for added traction.
Can the insoles be removed?
Yes, the insoles are typically removable if you need to air them out or replace them with custom inserts.
Troubleshooting
Elastic laces feel too loose after time
Check if the laces have stretched; since they are fixed, you may need to ensure the shoe size is correct for the foot or consider a slightly tighter fit.
Outer surface appears scuffed
Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove surface dirt or use a specialized foam cleaner for sneakers to restore the finish.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To keep your Nike V5 RNR Trainers in peak condition, ensure you follow these steps for maintenance:
- Cleaning: Wipe the upper material with a soft, damp cloth. Use a mild soap for stubborn spots, but avoid submerging the shoes in water or putting them in a washing machine, as this can degrade the foam midsole.
- Drying: Air dry the trainers at room temperature. Keep them away from direct heat sources like radiators, as high heat can warp the foam and damage the elastic.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture buildup inside the shoe.
- Compatibility: These trainers are designed for standard kids' foot shapes. If using custom orthotics, ensure they fit within the internal volume before removing the factory insole.
