Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the surfaces to be sealed are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and loose material. For best results, slightly roughen porous surfaces. Cut the nozzle tip to the desired bead size. Apply the cement evenly to one surface using the nozzle.
Compatibility: This fire cement is specifically designed for sealing joints and cracks in materials exposed to high temperatures, such as brick, stone, metal, and concrete within fireplaces, stoves, chimneys, and ovens. It is not intended for use on plastics or materials that cannot withstand high heat.
Care: Once cured, the fire cement is permanent. Avoid disturbing the sealed area during the curing process. Regular inspection of sealed joints is recommended, particularly after periods of intense use.
