Full details
The Belledorm Brushed Cotton Extra Deep Fitted Sheet is designed for homeowners seeking year-round comfort and a secure fit on thicker mattress types. Its primary benefit is the soft, brushed cotton texture that offers thermal insulation in winter while maintaining essential breathability during warmer seasons. While the fabric is incredibly cozy, users should note that natural brushed cotton requires proper laundering care to maintain its soft pile and shape over time.

FAQs
Will this sheet fit a standard 20cm deep mattress?
Yes, it will fit, but you may have excess fabric that will need to be tucked well under the mattress to ensure a taut surface.
Is the brushed cotton warm enough for winter?
Yes, the brushed surface is designed to provide extra thermal insulation, making it much warmer than standard cotton sheets.
Does this sheet shrink in the wash?
As with all natural cotton products, minimal shrinkage can occur. It is best to follow the care label instructions and avoid high-heat drying.
Can I use this on an adjustable bed?
Yes, the elasticated corners are generally strong enough to hold the sheet in place even when the bed base is articulated.
Is the fabric prone to pilling?
While high-quality brushed cotton is durable, pilling can occur if washed with abrasive items like towels or jeans. Wash with similar soft linens to maintain the texture.
Troubleshooting
Sheet keeps popping off the mattress corner
Ensure that the corner of the mattress is tucked deep into the sheet and that the elastic is pulled fully underneath the mattress base.
Fabric feels less soft after several washes
Avoid using fabric softeners that leave residue and ensure you are using a mild liquid detergent; the brushing effect is best preserved with gentle washing cycles.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To achieve the best fit, ensure that the mattress corners are properly aligned with the elasticated sections of the sheet. For maintenance, wash the sheet on a cool or warm cycle with mild detergent to protect the brushed fibers. Avoid using bleach, as this can degrade the natural cotton yarns. When drying, tumble dry on a low setting and remove while slightly damp to prevent excessive wrinkling. The sheet is compatible with any mattress up to 38cm in thickness; if your mattress is significantly thinner, you may find the sides fold under excessively.
