The Debenhams Maine Short Wadded Jacket is designed for adult males seeking a practical yet stylish outer layer for autumn and winter seasons. Its primary benefit is the combination of a high-collar design for wind protection and a wadded, quilted construction that ensures warmth without sacrificing a streamlined silhouette. While it offers excellent versatility for casual and smart-casual outfits, users should note that the wadded insulation is best suited for brisk, cool weather rather than extreme, sub-zero winter temperatures.

The jacket is designed for warmth and wind resistance; it is not explicitly classified as waterproof, so it is best used in dry or light-drizzle conditions.
We recommend professional dry cleaning or spot cleaning with a damp cloth to preserve the quality of the wadding and outer material.
The jacket is ideal for autumn and cool winter days, but for extreme sub-zero temperatures, we suggest layering it over additional heavy thermal wear.
The Maine Short Wadded Jacket is designed for a standard fit, allowing enough room for layering comfortably.
It is highly versatile and works well with dark trousers, crisp trainers, or fine-knit sweaters for a smart-casual aesthetic.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the zipper teeth; if it remains stiff, lightly rub a graphite pencil tip along the teeth to act as a lubricant.
Use a gentle, mild detergent on a damp cloth to dab the area; avoid harsh scrubbing that might damage the quilted texture.
As this is a ready-to-wear garment, there is no setup required. For sizing, the XXL fit is designed to accommodate layers underneath, such as hoodies or jumpers. To maintain the integrity of the wadded material, it is recommended to follow the care label instructions typically found inside the garment. Generally, you should spot-clean the exterior fabric with a damp cloth to manage dust or small stains. Avoid high-heat drying, as it may compromise the synthetic insulation or the quilted stitching.
