Ensure the surface was thoroughly cleaned of grease, dust, and loose particles before application. If the surface is very glossy, lightly sand it to provide a 'key' for the paint.

Before applying, ensure all surfaces are dry, clean, and free of oil, grease, or loose flaking paint. While the paint is self-priming, a light sanding of glossy surfaces can help improve mechanical adhesion. Stir the paint thoroughly before use. Apply using a high-quality brush, roller, or spray equipment. For best results, apply two coats, allowing for the recommended drying time between them. Clean brushes and equipment with water immediately after use to prevent the paint from hardening on bristles.
