Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Unroll the rug carefully upon arrival. Allow it to lie flat for at least 24-48 hours to help remove creases and wrinkles from packaging. Position it in your desired location. For added safety and to prevent slipping, consider using a rug gripper or underlay, especially on hard flooring.
Compatibility:
This rug is suitable for most indoor flooring types, including hardwood, tile, laminate, and carpet. It is compatible with standard vacuum cleaners. Due to its low-pile nature, it can also be used effectively with underfloor heating systems, provided the underlay used is also compatible.
Care:
- Regular Vacuuming: Vacuum weekly using a standard vacuum cleaner. Avoid using a beater bar on high-pile settings, as this can damage the fibres. A suction-only setting is recommended.
- Spot Cleaning: For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild soap or carpet cleaner and a damp cloth. Work from the outside of the stain inwards to prevent spreading. Rinse the area with a clean, damp cloth and allow it to air dry completely. Do not use harsh chemicals or bleach.
- Professional Cleaning: For deep cleaning or stubborn stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended periodically.
