The designs are intended for children and are made with child-safe materials. However, vigorous washing may affect the longevity of the design.

It is recommended to hand wash the bottle to preserve the material and design. Dishwasher use may damage the product.
Ensure there is no debris around the threads. Check that the lid is aligned correctly before twisting. If it feels stiff, rinse the lid threads with warm water.
Check that the straw or spout (if applicable) is not blocked. Ensure the lid is fully screwed on, creating a proper seal which may also be necessary for suction/flow.
This may occur with prolonged use or improper washing. Ensure you are hand washing gently and avoiding abrasive materials. Unfortunately, significant fading may be irreversible.
Wash thoroughly with warm, soapy water and a bottle brush. For stubborn odors, try filling the bottle with a mixture of water and a small amount of baking soda, letting it sit for a few hours, then rinsing well.
