Tikkurila Rostex Super Metal Primer in Red Oxide shade is a solvent-based, quick-drying anti-corrosion primer for interior and exterior use. Suitable for zinc-coated steel and roughened aluminium surfaces as well as use on copper, brass and stainless steel. Metal-sheeted roofs, water channels, other interior or exterior metal structures can all be primed in Rostex. For ease of application, we suggest applying by brush, spray or roller. Rostex is touch dry under normal conditions in 2 - 4 hours and re-coatable after 12 hours. Rostex Super Metal Primer is a solvent-based, anti-corrosive primer paint for metal surfaces with a special binding agent that is intended for professional trade use rather than home improvement projects. There are three undercoat colours to choose from (Grey, Red and Black). Use on zinc-coated steel and roughened aluminium surfaces (including roofs, gutters, down pipes, and railings), as well as copper, brass, and stainless steel. Leaves a matt (6-10% sheen) finish and an adhesive surface layer for subsequent painting. Rostex Super Akva is an oil-based primer that can be followed by other alkyd paints (for example, Miranol, Unica, and Panssarimaali) or water-based paints (such as Panssari Akva). Touch dry in 2 - 4 hours under normal conditions and re-coatable in 6 hours for oil-based paints or 48 hours for water-based paints.
