Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and smooth. Remove any dust, grease, or old adhesive.
- Measure and cut the vinyl wrap to the required size, adding a small overlap for trimming.
- Slowly peel back the backing paper while carefully applying the vinyl to the surface, using a squeegee to smooth out air bubbles.
- For corners or edges, gently warm the vinyl with a hairdryer to make it more pliable before applying.
Compatibility:
This vinyl is best suited for smooth, non-porous surfaces such as:
- Laminated furniture
- Painted walls (ensure paint is fully cured)
- Glass
- Metal
- Melamine-faced chipboard
Avoid applying to porous, rough, or excessively textured surfaces where adhesion may be compromised.
Care:
Clean the surface regularly with a damp cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the vinyl's finish. For stubborn marks, a solution of warm water and a mild detergent should suffice. Ensure the surface is dried thoroughly after cleaning.
