The Karrimor Sierra Waterproof Jacket is a lightweight shell primarily designed for rain protection and breathability. For cold winter conditions, it is recommended to wear it over insulating layers (like a fleece or down jacket) for adequate warmth.

Always follow the care label. Typically, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, using a technical wash designed for waterproof fabrics. Avoid fabric softeners, bleach, and harsh detergents as they can damage the waterproof membrane and DWR finish. Air dry or tumble dry on low heat.

This jacket is designed for country walks, light hiking, and general rainy day use, offering reliable performance for moderate activity. For highly strenuous, technical activities like mountain climbing, specialized jackets with enhanced durability and specific features may be more appropriate.

The two zipped pockets are designed to offer good protection against rain and splashes, keeping your essentials secure. For items that must remain absolutely dry in extreme conditions, consider using a dry bag or waterproof pouch inside the pocket.
