FAQs
Are these trainers waterproof?
No, they are made from suede, which is naturally porous. It is highly recommended to use a protective suede spray to provide basic water resistance.
Can I put these in the washing machine?
No, washing machines can damage the suede material and compromise the structural integrity of the trainers.
Are these shoes suitable for wide feet?
The Hoff trainers feature a standard fit. If you have particularly wide feet, you may want to ensure the laces are adjusted to offer maximum space.
How do I remove salt stains from the suede?
Gently blot the area with a cloth dampened with a mix of water and white vinegar, then allow to air dry away from heat sources.
Do these shoes provide arch support?
They feature a cushioned sole for general comfort, but they do not have specialized orthotic arch support.
Troubleshooting
Suede looks matted or flat
Use a suede brush or a clean eraser to gently lift the nap of the suede in a circular motion.
Shoes feel too tight
Ensure the laces are fully loosened before inserting your foot, then tighten gradually to allow the upper to accommodate your arch.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Hoff Trainers last as long as possible, follow these care guidelines:
- Protective Spray: Before wearing, apply a high-quality suede-specific water repellent spray to guard against moisture and light staining.
- Cleaning: If the suede becomes dirty, use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove surface debris. Avoid using water directly on the material.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading.
- Fit: These trainers feature a standard fit; ensure your laces are tightened sufficiently to prevent heel slippage while walking.
