Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Unroll the rug carefully upon arrival. Allow it to lay flat for at least 24-48 hours to allow any creases from packaging to dissipate. Ensure the rug is placed on a clean, dry, and level surface. For added stability and to prevent slipping, consider using a rug pad underneath.
Compatibility: This rug is designed for indoor use and is compatible with most floor types, including hardwood, tile, and low-pile carpet. It can be used in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and home offices. Due to the material, it's best suited for areas not prone to excessive moisture.
Care:
- Vacuuming: Regularly vacuum the rug using a standard vacuum cleaner without a rotating brush head, or use the upholstery attachment. Vacuum in the direction of the pile.
- Spot Cleaning: For minor spills, blot the affected area immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild detergent solution and a damp cloth, working from the outside of the stain inward. Avoid overwetting the rug.
- Professional Cleaning: For deep cleaning or significant stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning methods.
