No, the mattress is not included with the DS Living Eclipse Ottoman Bed.
It features an integrated ottoman lift-up storage system located beneath the mattress base.
While it is possible, it is highly recommended to have two people to handle the assembly, especially when attaching the headboard and lifting the base frame.
Use a vacuum with an upholstery attachment for regular cleaning. For spot cleaning, use a slightly damp, clean cloth and blot gently.
The headboard is designed as a fixed, tall feature to provide the specific aesthetic and support intended by the design.
Check that the mattress is evenly distributed and not obstructing the hinges. Ensure the base is on a level surface.
Double-check that all bolts and hardware connecting the headboard to the base are fully tightened.
Use a soft-bristled brush or a vacuum with an upholstery nozzle to gently remove surface debris.
To set up your bed, ensure you have sufficient clearance around the frame to accommodate the ottoman opening mechanism. Align the headboard securely to the divan base using the provided hardware, ensuring all bolts are tightened to prevent squeaking. This bed is compatible with most standard-sized mattresses; however, be mindful of the mattress weight, as a significantly heavy mattress may affect the speed of the gas-lift mechanism. For care, vacuum the fabric upholstery periodically using an upholstery attachment to remove dust. If a spill occurs, blot gently with a clean, slightly damp cloth—avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbing, which could damage the fabric texture.
