Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and smooth. Remove any dust or debris.
- Plan your layout and mark guidelines using a pencil and spirit level for a straight finish.
- Peel the backing from the adhesive strip on the back of a panel.
- Carefully align the panel with your guidelines and press firmly against the wall, starting from the center and working outwards to ensure full adhesion.
- Repeat for subsequent panels, ensuring they are aligned correctly with adjacent panels.
Compatibility:
These panels are best suited for smooth, non-porous surfaces such as painted drywall, plaster, or wood. They may not adhere effectively to textured wallpaper, brick, concrete, or freshly painted walls (allow paint to cure for at least 4 weeks).
Care:
- Gently vacuum the velvet surface to remove dust.
- For minor marks, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap solution. Blot the area gently and allow it to air dry. Avoid excessive moisture.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the velvet finish.
