FAQs
Are these gloves suitable for extreme cold weather?
While these gloves offer excellent thermal regulation and moisture control, they are designed for multi-activity use across various conditions. For extreme sub-zero temperatures, consider wearing them as a waterproof shell over a warmer liner glove.
How do I ensure the longest lifespan for my gloves?
Follow the care instructions diligently: wash on a gentle cycle with liquid detergent, avoid fabric softener and bleach, and always hang dry naturally, keeping them away from direct heat.
Can I use these gloves for activities other than hiking or cycling?
Yes, their high dexterity, waterproof nature, and grip make them suitable for a wide range of outdoor activities including running, fishing, kayaking, photography, and general outdoor work in wet conditions.
What does 'Fusion Control Technology' mean?
This technology uniquely bonds the three layers of the glove (outer shell, membrane, and inner lining) together. This eliminates any movement between the layers, providing a close, comfortable fit, exceptional dexterity, and preventing the inner liner from pulling out.
How do I determine the correct size?
Refer to the brand's sizing chart, typically available on their website or product packaging. Measure the circumference of your palm and the length of your hand to find the best fit.
Is the entire glove touchscreen compatible?
No, the touchscreen compatibility is specifically integrated into the index finger and thumb areas of the glove to allow for precise interaction with electronic devices.
Troubleshooting
Gloves feel damp inside, but it's not raining.
This can be due to internal moisture buildup from sweat. Ensure the gloves are dried thoroughly after each use. If the issue persists, the membrane's breathability may be compromised; ensure proper cleaning according to care instructions.
Touchscreen functionality is not working.
Check that the touchscreen-compatible areas (index finger and thumb) are clean and dry. Perspiration or dirt can interfere with conductivity. Ensure you are pressing firmly enough on the screen.
Reduced grip effectiveness.
Clean the PU suede palm with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or oils that may have accumulated. Ensure the gloves are fully dry before use.
Water is leaking through the material.
Inspect the gloves for any punctures or tears. If significant damage is found, the waterproof integrity may be compromised. Clean the gloves and follow the care instructions strictly, as improper washing can affect waterproofness.
