Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting your toddler ready is simple with these trainers.
- Open the Shoe: Gently pull open the shoe's opening. The elastic laces will stretch to accommodate the foot.
- Insert Foot: Guide your child's foot into the shoe. The elastic laces allow for easy entry without needing to tie or untie.
- Adjust (if needed): Ensure the foot is comfortably seated. The standard fit is designed to be snug but not tight.
Compatibility
- Age Group: Specifically designed for toddlers.
- Gender: Unisex design, suitable for all children.
- Outfit Matching: Their classic black suede and white stripe design make them highly compatible with a wide range of casual and sporty toddler apparel. Ideal for daily wear, casual outings, and light play.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your suede trainers.
- Dry Brushing: For light dirt or dust, use a soft-bristled suede brush (or a clean, dry toothbrush) to gently brush in one direction to remove particles.
- Stain Removal: For tougher marks, use a suede eraser. Gently rub the eraser over the stain.
- Deep Cleaning (Caution): For more significant dirt, lightly dampen a clean cloth with water (or a specialized suede cleaner) and gently dab the affected area. Avoid saturating the suede with water, as this can cause damage or discoloration.
- Drying: Always allow suede to air dry naturally, away from direct heat or sunlight. Stuffing the shoes with paper towels can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Protection: Consider applying a suede protector spray before first wear and periodically thereafter to help repel water and stains.
- Outsole Cleaning: Wipe the rubber outsole with a damp cloth to remove dirt and grime.
- Avoid Washing Machine: Do not machine wash or tumble dry these trainers, as it can severely damage the suede and overall shoe structure.
