As it uses light and not steam to sterilise, there is also no risk of burning, making it a safer alternative to traditional steam sterilisation. Remove the upper and lower lids of the RapidSterilise separately, then open the lid of the "RapidCool" flask. Insert the RapidCool lid into the lid sterilisation chamber, ensuring the edge of the lid presses against sensor 1. (see user guide) Cover the neck of the RapidCool flask with the flask sterilisation chamber at the bottom of the RapidSterilise, so that it encloses the neck of the flask. The neck of the flask should be placed in the middle of sensor 2. Press the button, the blue light will flash and sterilisation will start. The steriliser will auto shut-off after 1 minute of sterilisation, you can also press the button again to shut down immediately. When the lid or flask is removed whilst working, the corresponding sterilisation chamber will automatically shut off. By placing the lid or flask back into position it will resume sterilising of the corresponding chamber.
