Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Bowstring boots last for many seasons, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in Period: Wear them for short durations indoors before embarking on long treks to allow the leather and lining to conform to your foot shape.
- Leather Care: Regularly clean off salt and dirt using a soft damp cloth. Apply a leather conditioner or water-repellent spray designed for winter leather footwear to maintain suppleness and weather resistance.
- Drying: Avoid drying the boots near high-heat sources like radiators or fireplaces, as this can crack the leather; instead, air dry them in a well-ventilated area.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use during the off-season.
