Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Winding: If the watch has stopped, gently wind the crown several times until you feel resistance. For quartz watches, this step is typically not required for daily operation.
- Setting Time: Pull the crown out to the appropriate position (usually the furthest position for quartz watches) and turn it to set the correct hour and minute. Push the crown back in to secure.
- 24hr Display: If applicable, set the 24hr display independently or ensure it synchronizes with the main time setting.
Compatibility:
This is a standalone timepiece and does not require specific electronic compatibility.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the case and crystal gently with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Strap Care: Clean the nylon strap with mild soap and water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
- Water Resistance: While water-resistant, avoid exposing the watch to extreme heat, steam, or high-pressure water jets. Ensure the crown is pushed in fully before any water exposure.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
