Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting started with your electric weed remover is straightforward. Simply select the appropriate brush (steel for tough surfaces, nylon for delicate) and attach it to the unit using the tool-free mechanism. Ensure it clicks securely into place before plugging the device into a suitable power outlet.
Compatibility
This weed remover is designed for use on a wide range of hard outdoor surfaces, including:
- Concrete
- Stone
- Block paving
- Decking (wooden or composite)
- Tiles
- Plastic surfaces (e.g., garden borders)
It is not intended for use on lawns, soft soil, or delicate garden beds where plants are to be preserved.
Care
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your weed remover:
- Clean After Each Use: Disconnect from power and remove any trapped debris from the brush guard, brushes, and motor vents. Use a damp cloth to wipe down the housing.
- Inspect Brushes Regularly: Check brushes for wear or damage. Worn brushes reduce effectiveness and can potentially damage surfaces. Replace them when necessary.
- Brush Replacement: Spare brushes are available. For steel brushes, use SKU 3519028. For nylon brushes, use SKU 3519029.
- Store Properly: Store the unit in a dry, covered area away from direct sunlight and moisture.
