Surface Preparation:
- Clean: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and loose flaking material. A mild sugar soap solution is often effective.
- Light Sanding (Optional but Recommended for Smoothness): While self-priming, a light scuff sand on very glossy or previously painted surfaces can improve adhesion and create a smoother finish. Wipe away dust.
- No Priming or Sealing: The Lazy Range is self-priming and self-sealing, eliminating the need for separate primers or top coats.
Application:
- Stir the paint thoroughly before use.
- Apply thin, even coats with a good quality brush or roller.
- Allow adequate drying time between coats (refer to product label for specific times, typically 1-4 hours).
- Apply a minimum of two coats for best durability. Porous surfaces may require additional coats.
Compatibility:
- Ideal for: Interior furniture, wood, laminate, MDF, previously painted surfaces, metal (with appropriate prep).
- Safe for: Children's toys (EN71-3 certified).
- Not Recommended for: Exterior use, floors, high-traffic areas without additional protection (though durable, may not withstand constant foot traffic).
Care for Painted Surfaces:
- Cleaning: Once fully cured (typically 3-4 weeks), gently wipe with a damp, soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh scrubbing.
- Maintenance: Touch up small chips or scratches as needed with leftover paint.
Paint Storage: Store paint in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and frost. Ensure the lid is tightly sealed to prevent drying out.
