Vitrex Adhesive Trowel - 6mm

The 6mm notches are specifically designed for applying wall tile adhesive and, crucially, to ensure a thick enough layer of adhesive without damaging underfloor heating wires.

This trowel is versatile for many wall and floor tiles. The 6mm notches are ideal for standard wall tiles and thicker adhesive applications, while the 10 x 20mm notches suit floor tiles. For very small tiles or fine adhesives, a different notch size might be more appropriate.

Remove excess adhesive with a brush or scraper. For dried adhesive, a mild solvent can be used cautiously, followed by water. Store dry.

The trowel is approximately 115mm wide and 277mm long.

This trowel is primarily designed for applying adhesive. For grout, a flexible grout float is typically recommended.

The larger 10 x 20mm notches are suitable for applying a thicker layer of adhesive required for floor tiles, ensuring better coverage and adhesion on larger surfaces.

Ensure the trowel notches are clean and free from dried adhesive or debris. Check that the correct notch size is being used for the type and thickness of adhesive required.
