The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG GG sneakers are a special women’s only edition, released on February 11, 2017. They feature the same color blocking as the Jordan 1 ‘Black Toe’ sneakers, but swap out the red coloring for hyper pink, and include a heart-shaped basketball logo on the heel. The sneakers are part of the ‘For the Love of the Game’ series, which references a clause in Jordan’s NBA contract allowing him to compete in off-season pickup games. The Air Jordan 1 Retro Valentine's Day 2017 GS is a special iteration of the Air Jordan 1 released as part of their Valentine's Day collection that features a host of different silhouettes on the Nike line. It comes in grade-school sizing. The shoe features a leather upper with suede overlays that run from the lace eyelets to the edge of the toe box. It has a white base with black overlays on the front and Hyper Pink on the heel and around the ankle. It maintains signature elements of the AJ1 line, such as the Swoosh on both sides and the Wings logo. It also has a heart-shaped basketball on the heel - adding to the Valentine’s Day aesthetic. The contrasting black and white colors and the striking pink accents immediately make the shoe pop out.
