Full details

The Bala Bangles 2Lb (1kg) set is designed for fitness enthusiasts and casual movers alike who want to add consistent, low-impact resistance to their daily routines. These wearable weights provide a versatile way to intensify everything from yoga and Pilates sessions to casual neighborhood strolls. While they are incredibly effective for toning and endurance, users should be aware that the 2lb weight is fixed and not adjustable, making them better suited for steady-state movement than heavy-duty weightlifting.

FAQs

Are these weights waterproof?

Yes, the silicone casing is moisture-resistant and can handle sweat and light rain, though they should be wiped down after use.

Can I wear these all day?

While they are comfortable, it is generally recommended to remove them during periods of rest or inactivity to allow your skin and joints to recover.

Are they machine washable?

No, do not put them in the washing machine. Clean by hand with mild soap and a damp cloth.

Do these count as one pair?

Yes, each set includes two 1lb bangles, totaling 2lbs of weight.

Will they fit a small wrist?

The adjustable hook and loop fasteners are designed to be highly versatile and accommodate a wide variety of wrist and ankle circumferences.

Can I use these for running?

They are designed for low-impact movement. Using them while running may place unnecessary stress on your joints.

Troubleshooting

Bangles sliding down during exercise

Ensure the hook and loop fastener is pulled tight enough for your wrist or ankle size, and wipe away any excess sweat from your skin to improve friction.

Fasteners losing stickiness

Check the hook and loop area for lint, hair, or debris and remove it; occasionally using a soft brush can help restore the grip of the fastener.

Silicone surface feeling tacky

Clean the surface with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and let them air dry completely.

Pros and Cons

Pros

High-quality silicone material is comfortable against the skin
Easy to clean and maintain
Secure fit prevents sliding during high-intensity movement
Sleek design fits easily under sleeves or over socks
Adds constant resistance to help build endurance

Cons

Weight is not adjustable beyond the 2lb fixed set
May feel heavy on the wrists during prolonged overhead exercises
Not suitable for users looking for heavy powerlifting-style resistance
Sweat can occasionally accumulate under the silicone during intense sessions

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up your Bala Bangles is straightforward: wrap the strap around your wrist or ankle and secure the hook and loop fastener until the fit is snug but comfortable. Ensure the weights are positioned so they do not restrict circulation. To maintain the life of your bangles, wipe them down with a damp cloth or a gentle soap and water solution after each workout to remove sweat and oils. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners that may degrade the silicone. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use to maintain the integrity of the fastener adhesive.
