No, it is recommended to clean by hand or spot clean only to preserve the waterproof integrity of the backing.
The blanket measures 200cm in width/length, providing a large area for multiple people.
Yes, the waterproof backing is designed specifically to prevent moisture from seeping through to your clothing.
The blanket is designed to be foldable into a self-contained, compact unit for easy portability.
The fabric surface is designed to allow sand to be shaken off easily, though some fine grains may adhere if the blanket is damp.
The material is intended for standard outdoor use, but you should avoid placing hot cooking equipment or burning coals directly on the blanket.
Ensure the blanket is placed with the specific waterproof backing facing the ground; the soft side should always be facing upward.
Use a soft brush with a solution of water and mild dish detergent, gently scrubbing the affected area before rinsing with a damp cloth.
Clear all sand and debris from the surface before folding, as trapped items can create extra bulk and prevent a tight fold.
Setting up the Dogat picnic blanket is straightforward: simply unfold the item on your chosen surface. Since it does not feature integrated pegs, we recommend using small weights or your personal items to secure the corners if the breeze is strong. To maintain the life of the product, shake off loose dirt after every use. For deeper cleaning, spot treat stained areas with a damp cloth and mild soap, then allow the blanket to air dry completely in a shaded area before folding it for storage. Avoid machine washing or using high-heat tumble dryers as this may compromise the integrity of the waterproof backing.
