Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup
Your Air Max 95s come pre-laced, but you might want to adjust them for optimal comfort and fit. Experiment with different lacing techniques to find what works best for your foot shape. Ensure the tongue is centered and the laces are snug but not overly tight to allow for natural foot movement.
Compatibility
These trainers are highly versatile and compatible with a wide range of casual and streetwear styles:
- Apparel: Pairs well with denim, cargo pants, joggers, shorts, and even some smart-casual trousers.
- Seasons: Suitable for all seasons, though care should be taken in heavy rain to protect the suede and leather components.
- Activities: Best for daily wear, urban outings, social gatherings, and casual travel.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the appearance of your Air Max 95s:
- General Cleaning: For routine dirt, wipe the mesh and foam midsole with a soft, damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Suede & Leather Overlays: Use a specialized suede brush to remove loose dirt. For deeper cleaning on suede, a suede eraser can be effective. For leather, a leather cleaner and conditioner will help maintain its integrity. Always test products on an inconspicuous area first.
- Laces: Remove laces and wash them separately by hand with mild soap and water.
- Drying: Allow your trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources (like radiators), as these can damage materials and cause warping.
- Storage: Store your trainers in a cool, dry place, ideally with shoe trees or crumpled paper inside to help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Protection: Consider using a water and stain repellent spray, especially on the suede and mesh areas, for added protection against the elements.
