The SIP METEOR 8000 Panoramic Electronic Headshield features TRUE COLOUR HD LCD lens technology and large panoramic windows for enhanced detail, weld clarity, and better peripheral vision. It offers a rapid 1/10,000sec response time for immediate eye protection from sudden arcs, with a test function to verify electronic shielding. The headshield boasts a 100mm x 83mm viewing area with panoramic windows for improved peripheral vision, making welding tasks easier. It includes 4 sensors for rapid eye protection against sudden arcs and added safety, with adjustable shade settings: 9-13 for MIG/ARC/TIG, 4 for grinding, and 5-9 for plasma. The TRUE COLOUR HD LCD lens enhances weld detail and clarity. A testing button allows for checks of the electronic shielding functions, and an easy side-mounted control knob provides adjustable sensitivity and control. It is powered by an integrated solar panel and a Lithium CR2450 battery, and features an adjustable padded headband for operator comfort. A low shield power warning light is also fitted. SIP offers a 2-Year Standard Silver Warranty. Technical specifications include a True Colour HD LCD screen, a 133mm x 144mm filter size, a 100mm x 83mm viewing area, a grinding shade of 4 DIN, plasma shade from 5-9 DIN, welding shade from 9-13 DIN, and 5 DIN for side lenses. It has 4 arc sensors and a Lithium CR2450 battery with a light-to-dark response time of 3/10,000sec.
