Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Gabor Globe trainers, apply a suede-specific protective spray before your first wear to create a barrier against dust and liquid. If the shoes become damp, stuff them with newspaper and allow them to air-dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can shrink or stiffen the suede. For cleaning, use a suede brush to gently lift dirt from the fibers. If the insole begins to lose its cushioning or needs freshening, simply remove it and allow it to air out or replace it with a supportive alternative. Always ensure laces are loosened completely before inserting your foot to prevent crushing the heel counter.
