FAQs

Are these trousers true to size?

Yes, they are designed as a regular fit and generally correspond to standard UK dress sizing.

What material are the trousers made of?

They are crafted from a soft, durable bengaline fabric blend known for its excellent stretch and recovery properties.

Can I put these in the dryer?

It is recommended to air dry them to prevent damage to the elasticated waist and the stretch fibers in the fabric.

Are they suitable for formal events?

These are primarily categorized as smart-casual. While they are very tidy, they are typically better suited for casual or semi-formal settings.

Does the waistband have a zipper?

No, these are pull-on trousers with a fully elasticated waistband for maximum comfort.

How long is the cropped cut?

The length is designed to hit above the ankle, though the exact position depends on your individual height.

Troubleshooting

Trouser waistband feels too tight

Ensure you are selecting the correct UK dress size; the elastic is designed for comfort, but sizing up is recommended if you prefer a looser midsection fit.

Fabric appears wrinkled after storage

Hang the trousers vertically for a few hours to allow the stretch fibers to relax, or use a cool steam setting on the iron.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Comfortable elasticated waistband for all-day wear
High-stretch fabric ensures a flattering and non-restrictive fit
Versatile design that pairs well with various top styles
Low-maintenance fabric suitable for regular use

Cons

Cropped length may not suit all personal style preferences
Limited to a casual or smart-casual aesthetic
Requires careful sizing selection to ensure desired ankle fit

Setup, Compatibility & Care

As these are pull-on trousers with an elasticated waistband, there is no technical setup required. To maintain the integrity of the bengaline fabric, it is recommended to machine wash on a gentle cycle with similar colors. Avoid high-heat tumble drying, as this can degrade the elasticity of the waistband and the fabric fibers over time. For best results, hang to air dry to preserve the shape and size of the trousers.
