While you can wear the liquid lip color alone for an intense, long-lasting matte finish, the gloss is integral to achieving the 'lasting mirror shine' and adding comfort to the wear. For optimal results and the intended finish, using both is recommended.

Due to its long-wearing nature, we recommend using an oil-based makeup remover or micellar water specifically designed for waterproof or long-lasting makeup. Saturate a cotton pad and gently hold it over your lips for a few seconds before wiping off.

While the liquid lip color is designed to be long-wearing, and allowing it to fully dry before gloss application helps minimize transfer, no lip product is entirely transfer-proof under all circumstances. The gloss component may transfer slightly.

The transparent gloss component is formulated to be 'shiny and comfortable,' contributing to the overall feel and helping to prevent dryness that can sometimes be associated with long-wear lip colors. For enhanced lip hydration, ensure lips are well-moisturized before applying the liquid lip color.

To maintain product integrity and performance, store CHANEL Le Rouge Duo Tenue upright at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, or cold. Always ensure both caps are securely fastened after each use.

Ensure your lips are completely clean and dry before application. Gently exfoliate lips if they are flaky. Apply the liquid lip color in thin, even strokes, allowing each area to set momentarily before moving on.

Make sure the liquid lip color is completely dry before applying the gloss. Apply a single, even layer of the gloss; over-application can sometimes lead to a sticky sensation. A thin layer is usually sufficient for shine.

Ensure you are following the two-step application precisely: apply liquid color, allow it to fully dry, then apply gloss. Avoid excessive rubbing or blotting of the lips. Eating oily foods can also reduce wear time.

Ensure the cap is always tightly sealed after each use to prevent air exposure and drying. Store the product upright at room temperature. If the product is past its expiry or PAO date, its performance may degrade.
