Smartseal Block Paving Sealer has been developed to combat the constant problems of staining and weed growth and to enhance the colour and aesthetic appeal of new or mature block paving or flagstones. This sealed surface will increase abrasion resistance and also protect the jointing sand from erosion and weed infestation and provide a barrier to contaminants thereby facilitating easy maintenance. Smartseal Block Paving Sealer (Silk) is a solvent-based acrylic sealer designed to enhance the color and aesthetic appeal of both new and mature block paving. It provides a slight sheen finish while offering long-lasting protection against oil, stains, weeds, and algae growth. This high viscosity sealer is easy to apply and is suitable for most patio slabs and block paving. Volume: 150ml. Coverage: 2.0 sq. metres per litre (first coat), 3.5 sq. metres per litre (second coat). Application method: Sprayer or roller. Drying time: Tack-free within 2 hours at 20°C. Foot traffic: Permitted after 4 hours. Vehicle traffic: Minimum 24 hours at 20°C. Temperature range for application: 12 - 23°C. Ensure paving is pressure washed to remove all surface debris. Leave paving to dry for 3-4 clear and dry days. Brush kiln dried sand into all joints before sealing. Apply 2 coats of Block Paving Sealer, allowing 2-3.
