Care Instructions
Proper care helps maintain the suit's waterproof and breathable properties:
- Washing: Info needed: Refer to the garment's specific care label for detailed washing instructions. Generally, wash waterproof garments at a low temperature (e.g., 30°C or cold) on a gentle cycle.
- Detergent: Use a mild, non-biological detergent. Avoid fabric softeners, bleach, and harsh detergents, as these can damage the waterproof membrane and DWR finish.
- Drying: Info needed: Air dry the suit away from direct heat. Tumble drying on a low heat may sometimes reactivate the DWR finish, but check the care label first. Do not iron.
- Storage: Ensure the suit is completely dry before storing to prevent mildew.
- Re-proofing: If water stops beading off the fabric surface, the DWR finish may need to be reapplied. Use a specialist waterproof re-proofing spray or wash-in product suitable for breathable waterproof fabrics, following the product's instructions.
