Your New Balance 2002R Protection Pack shoes require no complex setup. Simply unbox, lace them up to your desired tightness, and you're ready to go.
Compatibility
- Activity: Ideal for casual wear, walking, urban commuting, and light daily activities. Not recommended for intense athletic training or heavy manual labor.
- Weather: Best suited for dry conditions. The suede material is sensitive to water and mud. Avoid heavy rain or snowy environments to prevent damage.
- Sizing: These shoes are sized for adult males. New Balance generally runs true to size, but always refer to a New Balance sizing chart if you have specific concerns.
Care Instructions
Proper care will extend the life and preserve the aesthetic of your New Balance 2002R Protection Pack Rain Cloud:
- Suede Cleaning: For dirt or scuffs on the suede, use a specialized suede brush to gently remove debris. For tougher stains, use a suede cleaner specifically designed for footwear. Apply sparingly and follow product instructions.
- Mesh Cleaning: The mesh upper can be cleaned with a soft brush and mild soap (like diluted laundry detergent) mixed with water. Gently scrub the mesh, then wipe with a clean, damp cloth.
- Drying: Always allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Never use direct heat sources like radiators or hair dryers, as this can damage the materials, especially the suede.
- Protection: Consider using a suede protector spray before the first wear and periodically thereafter. This can help repel water and stains.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Shoe trees can help maintain their shape.
- Avoid Washing Machine: Do not machine wash your shoes, as this can cause significant damage to the materials, adhesives, and overall structure.
