The Salter Duo Chop Box is designed for home cooks looking to speed up meal preparation for vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Its key benefit lies in its interchangeable blades for precise fine or chunky cuts and its compact design. A minor caveat is the need for careful handling due to the sharp blades.

It is recommended to hand wash all detachable parts with warm, soapy water. Dishwasher use may degrade the materials over time.
It is ideal for most vegetables, fruits, and herbs. It works best with softer to moderately firm items. Very hard vegetables like raw potatoes or dense root vegetables may require more force or pre-cutting.
Always use the provided cleaning fork to carefully remove food residue from the blades. It is safer than using your fingers or other utensils. Wash the blades gently with soapy water after removing debris.
Due to its compact design, it is best for small to medium-sized portions. For larger quantities, you will need to empty and refill the chop box multiple times.
The product is backed by a 5-year guarantee from Salter, providing assurance of its quality and durability.
Yes, the finger guard is designed to be placed over the food and is removable for cleaning.
Ensure the blade insert is correctly and securely seated in the base. Check that the food item is properly positioned on the blades and that you are applying consistent downward pressure. For harder items, try cutting them into smaller pieces before chopping.
Use the provided cleaning fork to carefully dislodge any trapped food. Ensure you are not overfilling the chop box. For softer items, sometimes a slight twist of the lid while pressing down can help.
Confirm that the blade insert is correctly placed. The lid and finger guard are designed to fit snugly over the blade assembly. If parts appear damaged, contact customer support.
Setup: Ensure all parts are clean before first use. Select the desired stainless-steel blade insert (fine or chunky) and place it securely within the base of the chop box. Place the food item on top of the blade, position the finger guard over the food, and press down firmly on the lid. Repeat as needed.
Compatibility: This product is designed for manual operation and does not require electrical power. It is compatible with most common fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
Care: All detachable parts are recommended for hand washing. Use warm, soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge. The provided cleaning fork is essential for safely removing food debris from the blades. Ensure all parts are thoroughly dried before reassembling or storing to prevent rust or mold. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the blades and plastic components.
