The Nike React Pegasus Trail 4 is designed for adult male runners seeking a versatile trainer that combines comfort and style for their runs. This guide covers its features, performance, setup, and care.

The React Pegasus Trail 4 offers good cushioning for long distances. While suitable for many marathon runners, those prioritizing maximum cushioning or specific race-day features might consider other options.
Ensure there is about a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe when standing. The fit should be snug but not tight.
Yes, the materials offer some protection, but they are not fully waterproof. They are suitable for running in light rain, but for heavy downpours, water may seep in.
The Pegasus Trail series is specifically designed with enhanced durability and grip for trail running, alongside the comfort of Nike's React cushioning, making them more versatile than road-only shoes.
Generally, running shoes should be replaced every 300-500 miles (480-800 km) or when cushioning feels significantly diminished or wear is visible.
While they offer comfort and stability, they are primarily designed for running. For dedicated cross-training, shoes with more lateral support might be preferable.
This is common with new shoes. Wear them for short periods initially to allow them to break in and mold to your foot shape.
The outsole is designed for versatility. For significantly wet or slippery conditions, exercise caution or consider shoes with more aggressive tread patterns.
Ensure you are tying a secure double knot. If the laces consistently loosen, consider replacing them with laces that have better grip.
Setup: The Nike React Pegasus Trail 4 requires no specific setup. They are ready to wear straight out of the box. Ensure the lacing is adjusted to your comfort for each wear.
Compatibility: These trainers are designed for adult males and are suitable for running on roads, treadmills, and light to moderate trail surfaces. They are compatible with standard athletic socks.
