FAQs
Are these tights suitable for cold weather?
They serve well as a base layer for added warmth but are primarily designed for athletic performance and flexibility.
Do these tights have an adjustable waistband?
The Nike Pro Tights utilize an elasticized waistband designed to provide a secure, comfortable fit without the need for manual adjustments.
Can these be worn for swimming?
No, these are designed for general activity and play, not as swimwear.
How do I determine if size 5-6 is right for my child?
The 5-6 UK size corresponds to standard infant development milestones; if your child is between sizes, we recommend measuring their inseam to compare against standard sizing charts.
Will the black color fade in the wash?
Nike utilizes high-quality dyes, but it is recommended to wash in cold water with like colors to maintain the deep black finish.
Troubleshooting
Difficulty pulling the tights on over feet.
Gather the fabric up from the bottom like a stocking before sliding the foot through to ensure an even distribution of the snug fabric.
Fabric appearing stretched after intensive use.
Wash the garment according to instructions and air dry; the material is designed to snap back into shape after a proper wash cycle.
Pros and Cons
Pros

- Neutral black color matches almost any outfit

- Provides excellent freedom of movement for play
Cons
- The compression-style fit may be harder to put on than loose leggings
- Available only in a specific black colorway
- Sizing is specific to infant UK measurements
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Nike Pro Tights, proper care is essential.
Care Instructions:
- Machine wash on a gentle cycle with like colors.
- Avoid using harsh bleach or fabric softeners, as these can degrade the stretch properties of the performance fabric.
- Tumble dry on low heat or hang to air dry to maintain the integrity of the fibers.
- Avoid ironing directly on the branding or fabric, as high heat may damage the synthetic materials.
Compatibility:
These tights are sized specifically for infants. The 5-6 UK size fits children within that development bracket, though individual growth rates should be monitored to ensure the best fit.
