MIPS Essential Core is a system designed to provide an additional layer of safety by reducing rotational forces transmitted to the brain from angled impacts. This is crucial for protecting against certain types of head injuries.

A proper fit means the helmet sits level on your head, covering the forehead without tilting back. The Headset SX system should be snug with the dial, and the straps should form a 'Y' below your ears, with the chin strap comfortably tight (one to two fingers fit).

This helmet is specifically designed and tested for cycling. While it offers excellent protection for cycling, it may not be certified or suitable for other sports like skiing or skateboarding.

The Virginia Tech® Helmet Ratings program independently tests helmets for safety. A 5-star rating is the highest possible, indicating superior performance in laboratory-based impact tests.

Use a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the helmet is completely dry before storing.

Ensure the internal channeling is not obstructed. While ventilation is optimized, performance can vary based on ambient temperature and rider exertion. Consider lighter headwear for extreme heat.
