Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Farleton boots, it is essential to treat them properly upon purchase. Apply a water and stain repellent spray specifically designed for suede to protect against moisture and dirt. If the boots become dusty, use a soft suede brush to lift the nap and remove surface debris. Avoid exposing the suede to heavy rain or mud. When storing, use cedar shoe trees to maintain the shape of the boot and absorb any moisture from inside the leather lining. If you find the fit slightly tight, ensure you are wearing appropriate hosiery; the leather lining will soften over time, but the structural width will remain largely consistent due to the formal last.
