Setup: To set up the HP USB-C 100W G6 Dock, connect the included 120W power adapter to the dock and then to a power outlet. Next, connect your compatible laptop to the dock using a single USB-C cable. Ensure your monitor(s), network cable, keyboard, mouse, and any other peripherals are connected to the appropriate ports on the dock. The dock supports instant connectivity, meaning your peripherals should be recognized automatically once the USB-C cable is connected.
Compatibility: This dock is tested and supported on select HP commercial PCs. For specific HP notebook compatibility, users should visit the HP PC compatibility portal and search by their notebook model. It is also tested and supported on select third-party PCs; contact your local sales representative for more details. The dock is compatible with Windows 11, Windows 10, macOS, Linux, ThinPro, and ChromeOS.
Care: To care for your HP USB-C 100W G6 Dock, ensure it is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating, with an operating temperature range of 0 - 35 °C (32 - 95 °F). Clean the exterior with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. Periodically check the USB-C cable and power adapter for any signs of damage. The dock features a cable lock slot for physical security.
