The Fly remains Elite's premium racing bidon, incorporating the latest design improvements from team feedback and Elite's internal testing. The new Tex finish, unique to Elite, is designed to make it easier to remove the bottle from the cage in gritty conditions, while also providing a better grip. Elite created the Fly by using new materials and pushing mould technology to its limits, resulting in the lightest ever bidon, which is half the weight of the previous Corsa design. The wall thickness has been minimized while maintaining integrity, reducing the amount of plastic used. The stripped-down, 2-piece cap is lightweight and quick to remove, with an opening designed to easily accommodate powder scoops. The simplified, 1-piece valve can be removed for cleaning, and its retention is now stiffer to prevent unwanted removal. This is a dedicated racing bidon; for daily use, please consider a heavier-duty model.
