Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Unpack Carefully: Remove curtains from their packaging, taking care not to snag the fabric.
- Inspect for Wrinkles: If minor wrinkles are present from packaging, you may gently iron them on a very low setting as instructed in the care section, or hang them for a few days to let gravity ease creases.
- Prepare Curtain Rod: Ensure your curtain rod is securely mounted and extends beyond your window frame as desired for full coverage.
- Hang Curtains: Thread the eyelets of the curtain onto the curtain rod, ensuring they face the correct direction. Arrange the folds evenly for a neat appearance.
Compatibility
These eyelet curtains are designed to be hung on a standard curtain rod. They are compatible with most curtain rods that can accommodate the diameter of the eyelets. Ensure your chosen rod is sturdy enough to support the weight of the heavy chenille fabric.
Care Instructions
Proper care is crucial to maintain the luxurious feel and appearance of your Yard Heavy Chenille Lined Eyelet Curtains.
- Dry Clean Only: To preserve the fabric's integrity and texture, these curtains must be dry cleaned. Do not attempt to machine wash or hand wash.
- Line Dry: After professional dry cleaning, ensure they are line dried. Avoid tumble drying.
- Ironing: If necessary, the curtains can be ironed. Use a very low heat setting and ideally iron on the reverse side or use a pressing cloth to protect the chenille velvet pile.
