Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Merrell Promorph trainers remain in top condition, start by breaking them in with short, low-intensity walks before moving to longer runs. Since these shoes use specialized foam and synthetic fabrics, it is best to avoid washing machines, which can degrade the adhesive and foam properties. Instead, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap after muddy runs. For drying, remove the insoles and allow them to air-dry in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators. If you find your foot needs extra support, the existing insoles are generally removable to accommodate custom orthotics.
