Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Choose Your Sockliner: Before your first use, decide which sockliner best suits your needs. The SL sockliner is for a lighter, more direct feel, while the Comfort sockliner offers extra cushioning. Simply remove the installed sockliner and insert your preferred one.
- Lacing: Utilize the traditional lace closure, ensuring the Compression Fit Tunnel Tongue wraps snugly around your foot. Lace firmly but not uncomfortably tight, securing a good lockdown that minimizes foot movement inside the boot.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed as Firm Ground (FG) football boots. This means they are engineered for use on natural grass pitches that are firm and dry. Using them on artificial turf, soft ground, or indoor surfaces may compromise performance, durability, and potentially lead to injury. Always ensure the playing surface matches the boot's design.
Care
- Cleaning After Use: After each match or training session, remove excess dirt and mud. Use a soft brush or cloth to gently wipe down the upper. For stubborn dirt, a damp cloth with mild soap can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Rinsing Soleplate: Rinse the soleplate under cool water to remove any trapped grass or mud from the studs. Do not use hot water, as it can affect the materials.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct sunlight or use artificial heat sources (like radiators or hairdryers), as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Using a shoe tree can help maintain their shape.
- Lacquer Wear: Please note that the decorative lacquer finish on the bottom of the soleplate is designed to wear off during play. This is a normal cosmetic effect and will not affect the performance or durability of the product.
