Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
- Adjust Fit: Loosen the AccuLock fit system dial at the rear of the helmet. Place the helmet on your head, ensuring it sits level. Tighten the dial until the helmet feels snug and secure, but not uncomfortably tight. Adjust the EVO180 deg occipital stabiliser for optimal seating.
- Chin Strap: Fasten the quick-release chinstrap. Adjust the strap length so that two fingers can comfortably fit between the strap and your chin when buckled. Ensure the quick-release mechanism is easily accessible.
Compatibility:
The Gul Evo Helmet 2.0 is designed for general watersports, including:
- Sailing
- Canoeing
- Kayaking
- Whitewater activities
It is certified to CE EN 1385, the standard for head protection in watersports. It is not intended for motorized watersports or activities with a high risk of impact from falling objects.
Care:
- Cleaning: Clean the helmet using only a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or petroleum-based products, as these can damage the shell and internal padding.
- Storage: Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid storing it under heavy objects, which could deform the shell.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the helmet for any signs of damage, such as cracks, dents, or worn padding. If significant damage is found, the helmet should be replaced.
