Evolving from the original PING Blueprint Irons, these irons are meticulously tailored to deliver enhanced shot-making capabilities and control, specifically for accomplished golfers. The compact head shape offers a classic and clean aesthetic at address, boosting confidence for players seeking superior shot-making versatility. A standout feature is their forged construction, imparting a soft and responsive feel upon impact. The strategic placement of the center of gravity (CG) optimizes trajectory control and shot workability, empowering golfers to shape their shots with pinpoint precision. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the Blueprint S Irons incorporate a tungsten weight in the toe section, elevating forgiveness and stability, especially on off-center strikes. This thoughtful design ensures consistent performance across the entire clubface – crucial for players demanding unwavering accuracy and reliability. The "precision pocket forging" technology allows PING to create a pocket in the cavity of the 3, 4, and 5 irons, saving 10 grams of weight. This weight is re-allocated to increase the Moment of Inertia (MOI) and optimize the center of gravity position, resulting in enhanced distance and trajectory control. An elastomer insert is discreetly placed in the pocket of the 3-5 irons, ensuring the solid feel and sound expected from a forged players iron. The 6-iron through pitching wedge are expertly sized and shaped to guarantee workability and control. Extensive testing with PING's elite tour professionals has yielded invaluable insights that have played a pivotal role in shaping the evolution of the Blueprint S. Every facet underwent meticulous examination, leaving no detail overlooked, resulting in distinctive features that set the Blueprint S apart in the realm of forged irons. Machined grooves provide the desired launch and spin for pinpoint control. In tour player assessments, Blueprint S demonstrated higher ball speed compared to its predecessors and achieved an enhanced maximum height, contributing to improved performance in holding the green. Swingweight adjustment is facilitated by tungsten toe screws and shaft tip weights. The narrow sole ensures consistent turf interaction across various conditions. Standard lofts are harmonised with Blueprint T and i230 for seamless integration within the set. The 6-iron through PW cater to the preferences of PING professionals who swiftly embraced the innovative design. Sahith Theegala, attributing a straighter ball flight and consistent distance, secured the first victory with the S. Louis Oosthuizen achieved consecutive wins utilizing a seamlessly blended set of S and T.
