Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces completely. Slide your foot into the boot, ensuring your heel is comfortably seated. Begin lacing from the bottom eyelets, pulling snugly but not too tightly to secure the midfoot. Work your way up, ensuring an even tension across the laces. Tie a secure knot.
- Break-in: While these boots are designed for comfort, a short break-in period during light training sessions is recommended to allow the material to conform to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These boots feature an FG/AG outsole, meaning they are compatible with:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm or slightly damp.
- Artificial Ground (AG): Modern artificial turf surfaces.
Using them on very hard ground, concrete, or extremely soft/muddy natural grass may lead to premature wear or reduced performance.
Care
Proper care extends the life and performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and debris using a soft brush or damp cloth. For tougher grime, wipe gently with a mild soap solution and a cloth.
- Drying: Never use direct heat sources (like radiators or hair dryers) to dry your boots, as this can damage the synthetic materials. Instead, stuff them with newspaper or paper towels to absorb moisture and allow them to air dry at room temperature.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using a boot bag for protection during transport.
- Product Label: Always consult the product label for complete composition and specific care details from the manufacturer.
