Setup, Compatibility & Care
When you first receive your Birkenstock sandals, the footbed may feel rigid. This is normal, as the cork-latex needs time to warm up and compress according to your foot pressure. Wear them for short durations for the first few days to allow your feet to adjust. To care for your suede sandals, use a suede brush to remove surface dust regularly. Avoid submerging them in water, as moisture can degrade the cork and stain the suede. Keep them away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the cork to dry out and crack.
