FAQs
What type of runs are the Cloudmonster Void best suited for?
They are ideal for long runs, recovery runs, and everyday training where maximum cushioning and comfort are prioritized.
Are these shoes suitable for marathon racing?
While they offer excellent cushioning for long distances, they might be less responsive than dedicated racing shoes for elite or very fast runners. They are excellent for marathon training.
How do the CloudTec Phase and Helion Superfoam work together?
CloudTec Phase provides a smooth, silent landing by absorbing impact, while the Helion Superfoam midsole offers responsive energy return, creating a balanced ride from landing to toe-off.
Can I use these on trails?
They are primarily designed for road running. The rubber outsole offers some grip, but they are not specialized for technical off-road trails.
What is the difference between Cloudmonster and Cloudmonster Void?
The 'Void' designation typically refers to specific colorways or minor updates. The core technology and performance of the Cloudmonster series remain consistent.
How should I clean my Cloudmonster Void trainers?
Clean gently with a damp cloth and a soft brush for the soles. Avoid machine washing. Allow them to air dry naturally.
Troubleshooting
Reduced cushioning feel
Ensure the shoe is properly broken in. For some, the cushioning may feel less pronounced as the shoe adapts to your foot.
Slipping on wet surfaces
While the outsole offers good traction, extreme wet conditions can reduce grip. Exercise caution on very slick surfaces.
Upper feels warm
The engineered mesh is designed for breathability, but in very hot conditions, some warmth is expected. Ensure socks are also moisture-wicking.
