The jacket features a water-resistant Pertex® Quantum fabric, which provides protection against light rain and snow. For prolonged or heavy downpours, a fully waterproof outer shell would be more appropriate.

This jacket is designed for cold weather. While the two-way zipper allows for ventilation, it is not intended for warm or hot conditions.

Hydrodown® is Berghaus's hydrophobic down insulation. It is treated to resist moisture and maintain its loft and warmth even when damp, unlike traditional down.

Washing should be infrequent to maintain the down's properties. Only wash when visibly dirty or when the insulation loft has significantly decreased. Always follow the specific care instructions provided.

The 'Trango' quilting refers to a specific pattern of stitching that keeps the down insulation evenly distributed within the jacket's chambers, ensuring consistent warmth and a distinct aesthetic.

Ensure the down is fully lofted. If compressed during storage, tumble dry on low heat with dryer balls. Check that all zippers and cuffs are sealed to prevent drafts.

The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating may have worn off. Consider applying a suitable re-waterproofing spray for outdoor apparel, following product instructions.

Ensure the fabric is not caught in the zipper teeth. Gently pull the zipper up and down. You can lubricate the zipper track with a wax or silicone-based product if it remains stiff.

This is normal for down products and usually minimal. If significant leakage occurs, contact customer support. Do not pull on escaped down; gently push it back inside.
