Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
The Meriden Tub Chair arrives with minimal assembly required. You will need to attach the legs to the chair base. Choose between the provided light or dark wooden leg sets to best match your home's decor.
- Carefully unpack all components, ensuring you have the chair body and both sets of wooden legs.
- Place the chair body upside down on a clean, soft surface to protect the upholstery.
- Identify the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the chair.
- Select your preferred set of wooden legs.
- Align each leg with its corresponding hole and screw it in securely. Hand-tighten initially, then use a wrench if supplied or needed to ensure they are firm and stable.
- Once all legs are attached, carefully turn the chair upright. Ensure all legs sit evenly on the floor.
Compatibility
This chair's classic 'bucket' design and neutral brown faux leather, combined with customizable leg finishes, make it highly compatible with a wide range of interior styles, from traditional to modern minimalist. It seamlessly integrates as an accent piece or a primary seating option in various rooms.
Care
Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your Meriden Tub Chair.
- Cleaning: The faux leather upholstery is designed for easy maintenance. For general cleaning, simply wipe down the surface with a soft, damp cloth. For tougher marks or spills, use a mild soap solution and immediately wipe dry with a clean cloth.
- Spills: Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth to prevent absorption or staining.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, strong detergents, or solvents, as these can damage the faux leather.
- Protect from Sunlight: Position the chair away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent fading and material degradation over time.
- Leg Maintenance: Periodically check that the leg screws remain tight to ensure stability.
